- Short Story Masterpieces I think a lot of people want to return to the classics, but it can be hard to find the time. A classic short story collection can be the perfect way to become more familiar with the greats in a shorter time period. Plus, they're just fantastic stories.
- Homicide Survivors Picnic and Other Stories I picked this book for the title, natch. But I really liked the stories, quirky characters and strange situations, but not so much that they aren't relateable.
- Some of Tim's Stories I loved SE Hinton as a kid, and it was nice to hear her voice again.
- Nine Stories by JD Salinger This is definitive short stories nirvana for me - quirky and strange from a classic writer.
